Pictures from behind the scenes

Antonio Fargas and Writer/Producer Freddie Anderson

Since Freddie is from Louisiana, the endless voodoo wetlands, he is the only one who can get away with looking like a zombie on the set. He was whacking down at least one cup of coffee with tabasco sauce per hour. We found about seven empty tabasco bottles after the shoot. So if you see on this website folks with popping red eyes--it is not the camera flash---it's a lot of coffee with tabasco.

In addition to walking like a zombie here and there and everywhere on the set, Freddie, was painting everything. He painted the set gray with a red stripe. And then, you can't see it, because he wears shoes, he painted his toe nails in red.

I don't let facts stay in the way of a good story and every good story is true because I believe in it. Someone on the set called me a "pinche Russky." Now, be careful not to read the Spanish side "me duele pero me gusta" that was a little inside joke, but don't worry, see the movie and you will be privy to all the inside jokes.

Freddie's red toenails look really cute---well unfortunately all close ups of Freddie's toenails got burned in the fire. Don't get me wrong I am not interested in Freddie at all, not to say that Freddie is not cute or anything like that, my sexual fantasy is a lot deeper than that.
What do you think I was thinking about when I was rolling my camera for 90 minutes none stop? Certainly not about making a shot. It's another insider thing - see the movie and fantasize.

The bigger, the blacker, the better means the quality stuff delivered with a BANG just look at it.

When I said the magic word, everybody was so happy, but Freddie retreated to the bathroom. I followed him around really quiet; I did not want him to know that I was following him. He slammed the bathroom door so hard so it opened in the swing of it and I saw Freddie frantically opening his makeup kit, he got his red nail polish and shook it to oblivion. He took his shoes off, scratched his toenails and started repainting them red all over again. His hand was shaking, so he really could not navigate the brush.

Before you know Freddie was painting bathroom into red stripes and he would continue, had the old "Per Jury" script not fallen on his toes. Evidently one of our actors was sitting there trying to commit to memory his or her lines. It broke, Freddie heart to see his toenails all messed up again. He tried to repaint them but the script got in the way, so Freddie resolved to painting on the script.
